Alex, Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator

Alex finds great joy in assisting patients and parents, especially when she sees them leave with happy smiles after a successful dental visit. With nearly 15 years of experience managing insurance policies and procedures, Alex helps families with insurance billing and disputes and coordinates collections, scheduling, and patient relations. When she's not working, Alex enjoys reading, especially the Harry Potter series. She also loves spending time with friends, soaking up the Southern California sun, and exploring new restaurants in San Diego. Music of all genres appeals to her, and she enjoys watching TV shows like Supernatural and Ghost Adventures.

Joy, Marketing Director

Joy enjoys connecting with the community and helping patients and parents discover the office's services. She spends most of her time outside the office, visiting pediatricians, schools, and dental facilities to promote the technologies and services offered by Seaside. As a Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions, Joy is always ready to answer treatment and oral health questions. In addition to her role in dental marketing, Joy is a dedicated mom, a fitness instructor, and a passionate baker.

Kaylee, Clinical Director/Lead RDA

Kaylee collaborates with the doctors and office manager to ensure patients have a positive experience. She takes pride in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for patients and the team. Having been part of Seaside since 2011, Kaylee sees it as her second home and has built close relationships with many families. A native of San Diego, Kaylee loves living near the coast and the mountains. She and her husband have three wonderful children and two dogs. When not working, she enjoys traveling, watching her kids play sports, and spending time with her family. Kaylee looks forward to seeing your bright smile at Seaside.

Karla, Treatment Coordinator

I’m Karla, and I’ve been working in the dental field for over 20 years. One of the things I love most about my work is being able to offer sedation options to help make dental visits more comfortable, especially for children. It’s amazing to see how much of a difference it can make in reducing anxiety and making the experience more positive for both kids and their families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, particularly my energetic toddler, who keeps me busy and brings so much joy to my life. My goal is always to make dental visits as stress-free and comfortable as possible for my patients, no matter their age.

“I love seeing the smiles that are created in the office due to the staff’s hard work to make such an enjoyable experience for the patients. I believe every child deserves a safe, and fun dental experience, I think it’s crucial at their age.

I’m the first face you’ll see when you walk into the office and help you checked in and answer any questions or concerns. I love greeting people and making conversation with the families that come in. I take care of your insurance matters and helping you make appointment for any of your needs.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, boyfriend and my two cats. I enjoy being in the sun and trying new restaurants, and places in San Diego. When it comes to winding down my ideal time is trying a new recipe and turning on some marvel with my two cats by myside.”

“My greatest joy is seeing the result of the beautiful smiles we have created through orthodontia. I love making sure the process is smooth and comfortable for both the parents and child.

I have been in the dental field for 10 years, and have helped many patients with their orthodontic journey.I help assist families with any insurance, billing, and treatment needs.

Aside from work, I enjoy hiking, trying out new restaurants, and spending some quality time with my spouse & dog. Moving to San Diego from Texas was one of the best decisions I made. I’ve created a lot of memories, and I am excited to create even more.

I love binge watching new shows on Netflix, and travelling the world.”
