Dr. Gillin is a MD physician dual board certified by the American Board of Anesthesia in both anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia with 25 years of taking care of children. He was the previous Chief of Anesthesia at Rady Children’s Hospital and was a member of the cardiac anesthesia team for 15 years.
After growing up on the beach in Florida he got a BA in biology from Brown University, his MD at University of South Florida, completed anesthesia residency at UCSD, and a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
He recognized that most children in pediatric offices were not being cared for by physicians and did not have experience caring for critical patients in a hospital. His goal is to bring hospital grade anesthesia to the care of children in the office setting.
